Discuss Your Commerce Platform

Auvix Commerce SystemsA division of Auvix Technologies Ltd

Commerce systems built for what happens after the first order.

Anyone can put a buy button on a page. We build the machinery behind it — storefront, checkout, payments, stock, fulfilment and reporting connected into one dependable commercial operation your team can actually run.

Sound familiar?

The problems that turn up once a shop starts actually trading

Most commerce pain isn't a design problem. It's what happens between systems — or in the gaps where a system should be.

Customers abandon at checkoutCarts fill up, orders don't complete, and nobody can say exactly why.

Stock never quite matchesThe website, the warehouse and the spreadsheet each tell a different story.

Staff re-key every orderOrders arrive in one system and are typed by hand into two more.

Product data lives everywherePrices in one file, specs in another, images in someone's downloads folder.

Payments fail silentlyDeclines and expired cards slip past unnoticed — especially on subscriptions.

Nobody trusts the reportsThree dashboards, three different revenue figures, one awkward meeting.

Trade customers order by emailWholesale buyers send attachments and wait, while your team retypes them.

The old platform costs more every yearLicences, patches and workarounds pile up on a system nobody chose to keep.

Connected commerce

Seven moving parts. One operation.

A shop only feels effortless when order, product and customer data move cleanly between the systems that need them. That connective layer is the work we specialise in.

What good looks like

The outcomes we scope engagements around

Fewer manual processing steps

Orders move between systems without being re-keyed by your staff.

Faster order handling

From checkout to dispatch with fewer touches, fewer queues and fewer errors.

More reliable inventory information

One stock position shared by the store, warehouse and back office.

Improved customer visibility

Accounts, order history and subscriptions in one coherent view.

Better reporting foundations

Consistent tracking feeding numbers the whole business can agree on.

Reduced platform friction

Less time fighting the tools; more time selling, buying and improving.

These are operational outcomes, described honestly. We don't publish invented percentages, and we don't promise guaranteed revenue increases — results depend on your products, your market and the follow-through after launch.

Delivery method

Seven stages, in the order commerce actually needs them

The sequence matters: you can't optimise a checkout you haven't mapped, and you shouldn't launch an integration you haven't validated with real orders.

  1. Assess

We audit your current platform, catalogue, order flow and integrations — what's working, what's fragile, and what it costs you today.

  2. Map

Together we map the target operation: every system, every hand-off, every piece of data an order touches from basket to books.

  3. Prototype

Key journeys and structures are prototyped early — storefront, checkout, portal or feed — so decisions are made on something real.

  4. Connect

We build and wire the platform: catalogue, payments, inventory, fulfilment and reporting connected through tested integrations.

  5. Validate

Real products, realistic orders, edge cases and refunds are pushed through end to end before anything goes near your customers.

  6. Launch

A planned cut-over with redirects, monitoring and rollback options — plus your team trained on the system they now own.

  7. Improve

Post-launch, we watch the numbers, fix what surfaces, and work through a prioritised improvement list rather than walking away.

Questions, answered plainly

Frequently asked questions

Which commerce platforms do you work with?

Primarily Shopify and WooCommerce, plus headless and custom builds where the requirement genuinely calls for one. We're independent — we recommend the platform that fits your catalogue, operations and budget, not the one we're incentivised to sell.

Can you improve an existing online store?

Yes — a full rebuild is often the wrong answer. Checkout optimisation, catalogue restructuring, integration work and analytics can all be carried out on your current platform, and we'll tell you honestly if we think the platform itself is the problem.

Can you migrate our products and customer data?

Yes. Products, variants, categories, customers and — where the platforms support it — order history are migrated with mapping documents and test passes before cut-over. URL redirects are planned as part of every migration to protect your search visibility.

Do you integrate payment providers?

Yes — Stripe, PayPal, Trust Payments, Global Payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Open Banking options where appropriate, including recurring billing and refund workflows. Payment acceptance is always subject to approval by the provider; we are a technology integrator, not a bank, payment institution or payment processor.

Can you connect our inventory or accounting system?

Usually, yes. We connect stores to warehouse systems, shipping carriers, ERPs and accounting packages through their supported APIs or middleware. Feasibility depends on what your systems expose, which is exactly what the Assess stage establishes before you commit.

Do you work with wholesale businesses?

Frequently. Trade portals with account-specific pricing, minimum order rules, bulk ordering, quotes and credit controls are one of our core disciplines — see the wholesale portal solution for the full scope.

Who owns the completed website and code?

You do. On full payment, the storefront, theme code, configuration and documentation we produce are yours. Platform subscriptions, third-party apps and licences remain with their vendors, held in your own accounts.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. Every package includes a defined post-launch support period, and Platform Care or Continuous Commerce plans provide ongoing updates, monitoring and priority response during UK business hours thereafter. We don't advertise 24/7 cover we can't genuinely staff.

Are third-party platform fees included?

No. Platform subscriptions, app charges, hosting and payment-processing fees are billed by those providers directly and are not included in our prices. We'll set out the expected third-party costs in your proposal so there are no surprises.

How long does a commerce project normally take?

It depends on scope, platform, migration complexity and external approvals such as payment onboarding. As a rough guide, a Launch-scale build often runs a small number of weeks, while migrations and operations-level projects run longer. Your proposal includes a timeline based on your actual scope rather than a generic promise.

Next step

Tell us what you sell, where it hurts, and where you want to be. We'll come back with an honest view and a written scope.
